Auditions | Lion King Jr. | Ages 7 - 12

CLASS DESCRIPTION

This semester Star Performers, Ages 7 - 12, will be performing the full production of Lion King Jr.. We meet weekly on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays, choose one day that works best for you! Monthly rehearsals on stage along with daily rehearsal on stage during show week are included. Auditions will take place August 24th or the 25th. Once signed up, we will contact you to specify an exact time slot for your audition starting as early as 4:45pm. Please prepare 30-40 seconds worth of a musical theater song that shows off your voice and be ready to read lines. If reading is an issue please let us know when replying to your time slot email and we will be sure to accommodate you. Auditions will last no longer than 20 min. We follow BVSD school schedules for holiday and weather closures. Classes start the week of September 8th and go through December into the new year with a break for holidays December 14th - January 10th . Classes will return January 10th and Performances will take place January 23rd and 24th. - Spring Session will begin January 25th - Class times are below: (group vocal classes are not included and need to be signed up for separately) Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays Class Times: Group Vocal Classes: 4:00-4:45pm Regular Classes: 4:45 - 6:45pm Classes and performances take place at The Spark in Boulder. Class is by audition, not everyone will be accepted. We have scholarships available and the option of monthly payments. Tuition is $1225.00 or 5 payments of $245.00 due on the 5th of each month. Included in your tuition: 40 hours of training and supervision 4 stage rehearsals show week 2 stage performances Licensed 135pg script from Disney Sound track with guided & accompaniment tracks Full costuming for your character If you are accepted, after the audition all of the information will be formatted in an agreement and you will then receive billing information.
