CLASS DESCRIPTION

It's time for their first step on to the stage! This group of performers gets to choose their favorite character from Beauty and the Beast Jr. We work on the basic building blocks of performance and self confidence. We spend most of our time playing games, dancing, speaking lines in front of the class and singing their favorite songs. With a final performance on December 2nd & 3rd on the big stage for friends and family. Classes are 45 minutes long meeting on Thursdays starting September 7th. Costumes will not provided and tickets to the performance are not included in the class payment. *The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. With many fun supporting roles allowing students to play objects inside the castle, this "tale as old as time" is filled with spectacular costumes, songs and dances.*
