Jazz & Modern | Ages 9 - 12

CLASS DESCRIPTION

We will be focusing on building basic jazz techniques while introducing more complex choreography and musicality. As well as exploring the fun and vast and creative space of modern dance. Students will refine their technique, learn stylized choreography, and explore a variety of jazz/modern styles, often including lyrical and Broadway influences. This class will help dancers develop stage presence and confidence while working on rhythm and musicality. A great match with vocal or acting classes! Classes start January 15th: Thursdays - 7:00pm - 7:45pm 12 Classes in total with one on stage rehearsal, and one performance on April 11th. Costume fees will be required and is not included in tuition price.
