Junior Star Performers

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Auditions will be held on August 22nd & 23rd. *Returning Star Performers DO NOT need to audition, you already have a spot in class! Please fill out our sign up form so we can plan on you and we will email you with the information you need for our fall semester. Junior Star Performers is a "by audition only" class and is stepping stone to our older group. In class you will be learning parts, studying acting skills and for a section of class practicing with our older group to see how the show all fits together. Junior Star Performers and Senior Star Performers will be performing together in their production of Beauty and the Beast Jr. Once you have signed up we will be in touch about an audition time on the preferred day you have chosen (on the sign up page). Once you have auditioned and received an acceptance email you will learn your part and be able to pay tuition to hold your spot in class. *The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. With many fun supporting roles allowing students to play objects inside the castle, this "tale as old as time" is filled with spectacular costumes, songs and dances.*
